7/03..Hope For Charlie
We'd like to dedicate today's WOD to a 4.5 year old girl who is facing adversity head on. As you read this Charlie Suarez Young is preparing for "open heart" surgery to repair a large atrial septal defect (ASD). Charlie's Father is a long time friend and fellow CrossFitter who lives and CrossFits in Georgia. He respectfully asked us to do the following WOD with his box (CrossFit Grit) and a few others on the day of Charlie's surgery. As a friend, Father and fellow CrossFitter, I spoke for all of us at Cadre and said "YES".
Three rounds of:
Burpees (1 min) 75 pound Power snatch (1 min) Box jump, 24" box (1 min) 75 pound Thruster (1 min) Chest to bar Pull-ups (1min)
Rest (1 min)

"Hope for Charlie" has the same format as Fight Gone Bad. In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of "rotate," the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep.
